Return Policy

West End Kids clients value our customer service as much as they do the quality of our childrens outerwear. All West End Kids online customers benefit from our 14-day Return Policy.

For online customers across Canada, we ship via Canada Post's Expedited shipping. For local customers (Ottawa Area) we offer an option for Store Pick-Up. Questions? Check our FAQs for answers, or Contact us at (613) 722-8947, or by email.

Return Policy - On Line Purchases with delivery

Are the children's outerwear items you purchased from us not quite right? These are our policies for ReturnsRefunds, and Exchanges.

Returns

Not all returns are eligible for a full refund.

  • Requests for returns, regardless of discount, must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • Sale items are eligible for store credit only.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return Authorization number (RA #) will be required with ANY RETURN. To get your RA #, please e-mail us at info@westendkids.ca.

Please include the following:

  • Your name
  • Telephone number
  • the 4 digit order number
  • Any information about the item(s) you would like to return.

Full instructions for how to return will be emailed with the RA#.

Please allow one to three days for the processing of your return from the date we receive your package.

Refunds

  • Only full priced items are eligible for refunds.
  • Return request must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • Returns made after 14 days, but no longer than 30 days, will be issued a store credit only.
  • Refunds to your credit card may take up to an extra day to appear on your credit record.
  • Shipping fees are not be refunded.
  • Return shipping must be pre-paid.

Sale Items

  • Sale items are eligible for store credit or exchange only.
  • Return request must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery, but no longer than 30 days.
  • Shipping fees are not be refunded.
  • Return shipping must be pre-paid.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges on all items can be made within 14 days from the date of delivery. 
  • Once you have received your RA you can order the item in the correct color and/or size through the website to ensures you receive the replacement item as soon as possible.
  • If availability is high, we can put the replacement item on hold until your return arrives.
  • Return shipping must be pre-paid.
  • There may be a shipping fee to have the replacement item sent out.

Original Condition

  • All returned merchandise must be in its original, sale-able condition.
  • Used/worn items will not be accepted.
  • All tags must be attached.

Defects

  • All of our manufacturers have a warranty on manufacturing defects (zippers, snaps, seams).
  • If an item you received is defective please contact us immediately.
  • Defects will be handled on a case by case basis, as the process with each manufacturer will differ.
  • If a defective item required return shipping, fees will be reimbursed.

  • Return items must be sent via insured, prepaid, regular parcel post. Insuring your return allows you to track you parcel with Canada Post.
